Have you heard about the online course site called Skillshare? Some of you might have received an email ad from them recently like I did. I usually kill those kind of emails right away but something caught my eyes. They actually offer many interesting courses like Food Photography: Capturing a Morning Worth Eating or lifestyle photography: capturing food, flavors, conversation. There are many design and photography classes and some culinary classes as well, like Perfect Southern Fried Chicken and Biscuits or Spaghetti with Clams. I am testing their free membership right now and have taken several courses already. There is a 5 hours per month limit with the free membership but I think that would suit me perfectly. So far, I have not had any troubles or crazy tricks by using their site.

The classes I took so far were very inspirational and less boring than the usual lecture format. I am not sure about the other classes though. But so far, I really like what I experienced. I always look for new techniques and guidance for how to take food photography or inspiration for my new recipes and I found Skillshare helps me on both counts.
